MMAC Open Relays

Thank you to everyone who supported the Midland Masters relays yesterday, both in official and athlete form, the sun shone and a great day was had by all.

In the M35 category Telford AC won with Leicester Coritanians in 2nd and Owls AC in 3rd.

Charnwood AC led the M45 category home with Telford AC in 2nd and Redhill RR in third and Charnwood again featured winning for the M55s.

W35s were led home by Telford AC with Cheadle RC in 2nd and Ripley RC in 3rd. Telford also led the W45s home so a good day all in all for Telford AC!

We had two composite teams – the winning team consisted of Nicola Long, Andrew Robinson and Adrian Lloyd.

Well done to all our winners and indeed all of the athletes competing on the day. Full results are below:

BMAF Road Relay Champs 14th May

If you are able to help with marshalling at the BMAF Road Relay Championships at Sutton Park on 14th May, please contact Mel James on mel.james@tiscali.co.uk. Please help out if you can – it would be a shame if this prestigious masters event were to be cancelled due to lack of volunteers.

MMAC Annual Open Relays 17th April

This is a wonderful, friendly and social event. The closing date, 8th April, is fast approaching. Please enter your teams if you haven’t already done so. If you don’t have a team but would like to compete, please enter as an individual and a team will be found for you on the day. The course is off road through a scenic forest park, paths are shale (not too hard or soft – nice and leg friendly!) and why not stay for refreshments and the AGM afterwards!
