The Midland Veterans AC was founded in October 1971 and changed its name to Midland Masters AC in 2006. It is an area club of the British Masters Athletic Federation who are responsible for the administration of master’s athletics in the UK. We cover an area roughly from Derby in the North to Bristol in the South although we do accept members from other areas of the country.
The club offers first and second claim membership for both male and female athletes aged 35 and over. We are affiliated to England Athletics (EA); the British Masters Athletic Federation (BMAF) and England Athletics Masters Association (EAMA).
We publish a Newsletter 5 times a year and members also receive a copy of the BMAF’s magazine “Masters Athletics”.
As a member you are automatically affiliated to the BMAF and can enter their championships often at reduced entry fees. Also, through the BMAF you can enter international events around the world.
Throughout the year we organise our own championship events in road and track & field as well as handicaps, relays and social events.
Joining instructions are contained on the “MEMBERSHIP” page, sub-page “HOW TO JOIN”
All members who have internet access and have an email address are kept up to date with regular communication.
