MMAC Open Relays


Thank you to everyone who supported the Midland Masters relays yesterday, both in official and athlete form, the sun shone and a great day was had by all.

In the M35 category Telford AC won with Leicester Coritanians in 2nd and Owls AC in 3rd.

Charnwood AC led the M45 category home with Telford AC in 2nd and Redhill RR in third and Charnwood again featured winning for the M55s.

W35s were led home by Telford AC with Cheadle RC in 2nd and Ripley RC in 3rd. Telford also led the W45s home so a good day all in all for Telford AC!

We had two composite teams – the winning team consisted of Nicola Long, Andrew Robinson and Adrian Lloyd.

Well done to all our winners and indeed all of the athletes competing on the day. Full results are below:

Special thanks to those who stayed behind to attend the AGM afterwards and to all the long hardworking officers of the committee who keep the club and enjoyable events like this one going.

The first 3 in each event will receive medals with a trophy for the best performance overall.

Please note any member who wishes to offer him/herself for any of the vacant posts listed is asked to notify the Acting Honorary Secretary (Irene Nicholls irenenn@aol.com) before the AGM.
New blood will be welcomed by the present officers.

Fees: £8.00 – 1st Event           £3.00 Each subsequent event
(Includes 50 pence to cover First Aid Attendance)

stating clearly which events to be entered with best times/distances in the last 2 years.
Important: Please enclose a 110mm x 220mm (DL) 2nd Class sae if an acknowledgment is required.
