MMAC Track & Field Championships – Important News

Track & Field Championships, 9th June 2013

T&F1Full details of our championships can be found on our dedicated page at http://tinyurl.com/a67ypmw

The important news is that you can now enter them online at http://areg247.co.uk

For those members who have already used the BMAF Online system all you need to do is login, look for events and choose our championships.

For the members new to the BMAF online system, then you will need to register, email me for your username and temporary password first.

Just follow the instructions as you go along. Comprehensive instructions on how to register are given on this link http://tinyurl.com/czlq8xq The system should now allow entry of 5 digit membership numbers so please make sure you use your correct membership number.

It is likely that next year we will use an online entry in preference to paper entries, so please register now, and you will be set up to pay both your yearly subscriptions and some of our events.

  1. Like last year, I just can’t enter this year, on this system. You are the looser in revenue and support. Paper entries please and quick.

    • Provided you are a member of MMAC and therefore on the database you can send in a cheque with a list of the events you wish to enter and your entry can be accepted without a paper form. It’s that easy. MMAC do not have an online entry only rule but you have to be a paid up member.

  2. I have just tried to enter and it says i must pay my subscription before I can enter a race, my subscription is up to date so don’t know why this happened. Also I tried to change my membership number to the 5 digit one and it wouldn’t allow 5 digits!!! Help 🙂

    • Kate, I am as exasperated as you must be. You are the 2nd member to try and both are paid up, so I do not know why this has happened. I have spent hours setting up the database so that we can go ‘live’ with the entries and it is the intention that unpaid subs will be asked for but it looks as though something is wrong. I will take this up with the developer ASAP. Also, the system should allow our numbers to be used, clearly this is another blip, which again I will take up.
Sorry this has happened, you are actually acting as guinea pigs being the first members to try it out, and I thank you for trying.
I will let you know when it’s resolved.

    • Had exactly the same experience, back to the good old pen and paper!

      • Ron, Please don’t give up!! Or my time has been wasted. Plenty of members including Kate have now successfully entered and hopefully the initial hiccup has been sorted. Please let me know exactly what the problem was, if it’s a technical issue, we can get it fixed. If you don’t tell us we can’t sort it. Paper entries are rapidly becoming a thing of the past, please persevere.
