You have to be fully paid up for 2014 and have your membership status “Confirmed” before you can enter. Members who have not used AREG before need to contact me at mmac.sec@blueyonder.co.uk for their login details.
Closing date is STRICTLY the 23rd May 2014, entry will be taken off AREG on the morning of the 24th. Because of the amount of preparation needed for timetables/programmes etc. We will NOT allow any LATE entries. It has been possible to enter since January, SO NO EXCUSES.

Members whose UKA Club does not compete in the league may be able to qualify under the 2nd Claim Rule. Please check with Tony because numbers are limited by the MVTFL Rules.
Midland Masters AC will once again compete in the Midland Veterans Track & Field League (MVTFL); South Division during 2014.
Fixture details can be found at http://mvtfl.wordpress.com/south-division
Only 1st Claim Members can compete in this league and members of road running clubs who have registered with UKA as 1st Claim Track & Field only. If you fall into the latter category; have not registered and are interested in competing in track events then please contact me at mmac.sec@blueyonder.co.uk for details.
There are exceptions to the above; we can use 3 male & 3 female 2nd Claim Members during the season. Please check with your team manger or myself.
Communication is a two way thing; please contact your MVTFL Team Manager, Tony Porter, if you want to compete in the league. His contact email is antonyporter1@aol.com
We are already looking at our Championships Track programme for next year and were contemplating re-introducing a 10,000m. However, with a congested fixture list, this is not a simple task. Would we get support for this? Would athletes double up with the 5000m? Would it be a disaster for entering other events on the day? How can we get more members to enter a 10,000m track? This is becoming a rare event on the track, so why didn’t more members support it this year?
To help us answer at least a couple of these questions it would be a great help if members completed the Poll.
The Poll closes on the 1st October 2013
