Can I thank all the members who have contacted me individually for their very kind comments. It was very humbling… and much appreciated. The road since 2006 sometimes has been rocky but I have always tried to be fair and as efficient as I could. Sometimes membership queries have been very trying and occasionally, frustrating. But the job has always been rewarding. I wish MMAC and it’s members all the very best for the future and finally thanks the committee for their support over the years, particularly Irene, Martin and Margaret.
I now look forward to a more relaxed ‘retirement’
Tom Morris
I have informed the MMAC Committee of my resignation to take affect from the AGM. It is imperative that nominations are received prior to the AGM on the 26th April, in fact as soon as possible. Any member who feels that they can offer their help particularly in the area of membership subscriptions; event co-ordination; website maintenance; social media etc. should let us know immediately. Skills needed are some IT experience but not essential, however they should have a basic knowledge of Word and Excel and the ability to maintain electronic records (Windows/File Explorer or equivalent) and above all the ability to communicate.
We are not expecting one person to carry out all of the duties and a possible breakdown is as follows:-
There is an Honorarium of £200 per year for the Secretary & Membership Secretary’s position.
Tom Morris – 20th February 2015

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this website.
Here’s an excerpt:
The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 50,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 19 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
