MMAC Track & Field Championships Results

A fabulous, sunny if a little windy, day was had at the MMAC Track & Field Championships in Nuneaton at the weekend. A number of records were equaled or set including W65 80m hurdles, W45 Shot Putt,  M35 High Jump, M65 and M75 (guest) hammer throw, M80 triple jump and W70 javelin.

Tom Morris was presented with his gift for his many years as hard working MMAC secretary, web and social media master:

Tom Morris Tom Plate.

David Oxland was presented and thanked for his term as MMAC president and, in turn, presented Rosemary Chrimes with her well deserved MMAC President’s award.

Meantime, at the Diamond League, Alexander Stadium, Eric and Pam Horwill were presented with their Life Time Award for their hard work and commitment to their local community and area, and their involvement in the continued support of younger athletes.

  1. Hello, folks. I recently joined MMAC, and one of my motivations for doing so was to compete in these Championships. Thanks to all involved for putting on an excellent event. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and was great to renew friendly acquaintances and rivalries made elsewhere on the local scene and in the MVTFL. The playing of the harmonica when collecting medals was a nice, and amusing touch! I do note that Powerof10 and RunBritain are currently not publishing the results however, stating that a ‘list of officials’ is required – link below. Is this something that might be made available at some point so that performances are recorded against our individual profiles?

    Many thanks, Rob Stewart.

  3. Could someone please submit the results with a list of officials to Power of 10 so the performances can be recognised
