This is the last call for any member who has not yet renewed their subscriptions for 2010 to do so now please. Any renewals received by me after the 31st March 2010 will be classed as rejoining and you may miss an edition of our Newsletter (if mailed) and a copy of “Masters Athletics”.
There will be a strict cut-off date of the 31st March 2010, in practice it may be a few days before. This allows me to update the BMAF before the next edition of “Masters Athletics” goes to press.

Hello Dennis,
You opted out of receiving a hard copy of the Newsletter at the end of 2008, since then an email notification has been sent out when the Newsletter was ready to read/print online. Since November 2009 this notification has been through the Yahoo Group of which you are a member. A renewal reminder has been published in the last 3 editions of our Newsletter (Oct; Dec & Feb) with a Renewal Form also available online on our website. The subscriptions are always due on the 1st January each year and have been since 1996. Reminders have been posted on both the Yahoo Group and the MMAC Blog which has been in existence since September 2009. Certainly all members who have internet access (over 60%) have received more than adequate reminders and those who are not on the internet, at least three in the Newsletters. To date I have received around 700 renewals for 2010, so the system works for most people.
I’m sorry that you feel annoyed but pleased you have renewed. Please check each Yahoo Group Digest because it really does seek to keep ALL members well informed.

Posted by Tom Morris | March 17, 2010, 11:23 amI randomly clicked on MMAC Group Digest Number 38 in my email box and was horrified… slight exaggeration!…. but certainly annoyed to find this was the last call for membership renewal when I had not received any reminder before or so I thought as I do not have time to open open every email that is just topical discussion. Email subjects should be more detailed so one can filter out the chat and pick up the important bits not just a digest number! what else have I missed?
