_________________________________________________________________________________________

Owing to unforseen circumstances the BMAF Cross Country Championships 2011 due to be held in Luton will no longer take place. The event has been re-scheduled to take place on the same Perry Park circuit in Birmingham used for the 2009 Masters International Cross Country on the original date of 12th March 2011.

Midland Masters AC together with Birchfield Harriers will be putting on the event on behalf of the BMAF.

As details emerge the dedicated Blog http://wp.me/pQ0Ea-2C will be kept up to date. Please  make repeat visits and don’t forget to share with your friends & contacts by clicking the Facebook; Twitter and Email links below each post.

The British & Irish Masters Cross Country International 2010

The Home Countries International XC race will be held at Santry Park, Dublin on Saturday the 13th November 2010.

The criteria for selection are based on National BMAF events, especially the Cross Country Championships as well as the 5k & 10k Road and track championship races. Competing in BMAF rather than local events gives the selectors an opportunity to compare athletes over the same courses.

You MUST be a currently paid up member of MMAC to qualify.

An application form for consideration to be selected can be either downloaded from the BMAF website at http://www.bmaf.org.uk or from the MMAC website at http://www.midlandmasters.org.uk or from the link below.

Alternatively, send an sae 9″x 6″ (correctly stamped) to Mick Smedley, MMAC International XC Selector (England), 12a Bagshaw Street, Crewton, DERBY DE24 8TX for an application form.

All applications MUST be received by Mick Smedley (England only) no later than Friday, 24th September 2010.

Late applications will NOT be considered.

Yours in Sport,

Mick Smedley
