Gold medal positions, in the 8km race, go to James Hickinbottom, Shrewsbury (M35) 3rd overall; Mark Couldwell, CHARN (M40) 1st overall; Nigel Haycock, Cannock & Stafford (M45); Paul Ward, Telford (M50) 2nd overall; Ken Ham, Westbury Harriers (M55); Lionel  Spittle, Wolverhampton & Bilston (M60)

And in the 6km race: Catherine Charlton, Notts AC (W35) 3rd lady overall; Michelle Clarke, Telford AC (W45) 1st overall; Nina Skilton, Cannock & Stafford AC (W50); Penny Barber, Tipton Harriers (W55); Lesley Pymm, Bourneville (W60); Angela Copson, RUNOR (W70); Jeanne Bryan, Cannock & Stafford (W75); Peter Savill, Shrewsbury (M65); Paul Allen, Halesowen (M70); Phil Brennan, Stratford-upon-Avon (M75).
